Nice plan.
I for once have no questions or doubts about it.
Participation? hell ya if the hours permit me.
I may not speak for the rest of the TR staff, but i can almost say Count Trinity in..
And same as Jbud, ask and i will look where i can help.
Especially for those odd hours, ask and ill draw a list when i am available.

Looks like it will be a couple weeks. The map needs designing and testing, and that gets fit into the dev's schedule where they choose. At the moment I am hoping that it will be over the course of the Christmas to New Year time frame.

Things have smoothed out again. I am able to do this now. I will get back in touch with sens and see about a map. I'll post more info when I get it and try to finalize any awards and a date.

This is not a simple bump:
I've been thinking about this event again. I really like the idea, and the way enhancements work now has changed. The game has changed to F2P. Fleets have changed so anyone can join.
So I propose this same event, but with a few twists:
1. Entry is 1000 credits per participant.
2. Winners recieve a unique beam enhancement multi that changes beam color (proposing, if this could be done. This is standard multy for beams, but changes color of beams the way trail changes)
3. Second place gets a unique color trail enhancement. (the color is unique, not the stats)
3. Bracket held monthly to start, seeing how feedback goes.
My thought is to help drive donations to the game and interest in fleets through interest in the laddered event. Feel free to propose a change.

By the way, server logs record kills with names and ship types, so its not terribly hard to do a data dump on who kills who and in what ships. Might help with your stats collection idea.
