here is a potential lore for you geja... several of the icc planets where hit by some strange meteorites releasing odd chemicals into the air that caused them all to go crazy and become suicidal... so all the big generals decided to try and take sol from ugto.

Read the lore and history of this game a little more red. ICC actually formed an alliance with some of the kluth. So if anything the icc are treaturous to humanity and should only be treated as a parsite staining the record of mankind.
