AME regens .44 per second, that's the least out of all the drives except AFE, which is .42 ..

And AFE is the human speed engine... K'Luth Speed Engine has all stats bar max energy higher.

aside from higher max energy, human AFE also has more durability than kluth AME. (hitpoints)
so if youre facing EMP fire on your aft hull, you'd be happier having AFEs which will sustain energy generation when damaged, and will outlast the weak AM engines.
in case of doubt, kluth also have a high durability engine, the psi engine
unless something about engine durability has been changed in the last 3 years.

I can't recall a time when a damaged engine was ever a significant issue.
Who uses EMP on a regular basis anyhow?

UGTO with flux cannons and flux wave, and EMP cannons occasionally.

I made a typo when posting the stats, AFE is actually .44 which is the same as AME.
AME is supposed to be the best speed engine in the game because only k'luth has it, and they are the mauneverability faction. woo woo.

I guess I should seperate it into "Strategic" and "Tactical" mauneverability. K'luth have Strategic Maunverability: They dictate where, when, and how long the fight is. ICC have Tactical mauneverability: They dictate the range and placement of the ships in the fight.

UGTO I'm guessing ignores maneuverability and instead just smashes everything they see?

99% sure your super dread cant out turn a icc bomber dread.
99.9999% sure you cannot equip makar ship boosters on dreads.. Or i would have done that snit and had a super cruiser.
Also fattirob. Your fleet motto a salute to the lost fleet? Or unrelated?
