I hopped in beta to test out the new ability to allow fighters to change targets, and its FANTASTIC. The only problem I have with it is when you tell all your fighters to switch to a new target it pops up with a message for every fighter deployed to tell you its switching targets, I like the fact that I’m getting a text notification that they are changing targets but if you have 6 fighters and are having them change targets a lot in a battle I could see the large block of text being somewhat disruptive to the team chat you may be having. I'm not sure of a way to fix this other than simply displaying a single message for an order given to a group of fighters. Other than that it seems to work perfectly and i can see it making carrier ships a lot more effective and versatile. [ This Message was edited by: Fatal Afro Man *NCO* on 2012-12-29 03:42 ]

for that ill suggest there be a dedicated portion of screen for displaying fighter/transport pod/supply and build drone messages.
because each device or entity of them is often in numbers for any ship which uses them.
could also mprove it to a device monitoring display, so we know which sup drone is repairing whom, which fighter attacks what, etc...

Just curious where you would put this on the screen though. There seems to be no easy place to put it.

admittedly, i didnt use I19s, B27s or EWAS fighters (i stole the ICC SRR fighters), but you get the forged idea

I made the fighter changes as I had a few moments to work on the game. The change was relatively easy, however the UI changes would require a lot of work and time to get into the game.

Mike that would be perfect! and Panth i figuered UI changes would take a bit more time but it was just a suggestion i wanted to throw out.

I heard that fighters will be packed on one wings to reduce lag. Then it would be complicated to have both features.
If I must put a choice, I would choose the wing, which mean one target at a time for all the fighters. In facts, if you can direct each fighter, it's a total mess with 24 fighters available.

i use / flush to get rid of a bunch of chat or info that pops up that gets in the way.
